Just like Tom and Jenna said. And my kids own loads of fun making them too. We bought our transfer page at Sam's Club, but they're around everywhere.
Just be sure to remember the reversing bit. And if you want a pic bigger than 8 1/2 x 11 inches, then you entail to be creative with two or more sheets. But it does work.
These iron-on transfers don't ultimate as long as silk-screening, but they'll hold up to several washings...usually long enough for the kids to seize tired of them.
It's worth it just seeing the kids own a blast doing it though.
You can buy T-shirt printing software/supplies at places similar to Best Buy or Office Depot.. and some software stores...
You just want to print your pictures "backwards" so that after they are ironed onto the shirt they will be normal.
I'm not sure what category of quality you are looking for here, but you can buy what is call T-shirt verbs paper from wal-mart, craft stores, etc.
All you do is print the picture off your computer onto the article and iron it onto a t-shirt. (Just be sure to go to the print option and click on the reverse printing so that the image/text turns out correctly when transferred)
You need verbs paper for t-shirts, you can gain it at Office Depot or some place like that, Your correspondence or art will have to be surrounded by mirror image (reversed) so when you iron it on and coat the paper rotten it can be read by others. It will only work on white or pallid color shirts. If you don't have a color laser printer lug the file near you and have them print it beside your paper, Kinko's also does this and have the paper.
