Color copier printers cannot effectively reproduce Pantone?
B: Irregularities in the pigments
C: Undercolor removal
D: The inventory of CMYK colors is too broad
E: CMYK inks are impure
Answer:
Except hugely costly printers it dificult to get Pantone output faultlessly.
TRy EPSON inkjets photo priners or XEROX solid ink printers for Panton shades.
The opposite of D and a bit of E
A printer can singular reproduce colours based on the mixing of the CMY colours within it's cartridges.
If those colours are not totally saturated consequently it will not be able to reproduce notably saturated colours. Higher failure printers have extra ink colours to extend the span of colours available, but I doubt that they will cover the full Panatone range.
Also, if you are running this through a copier, next there is the scan process to consider too. This is dependent on the colour filters and the oil lamp source in the scanner.
