Why won't Vista permit me install my printer??
Answer:
Well, you involve to check for an updated driver for Vista. Go to the printer manf. website and see if they have one.
This have been a really big issue for Vista users. Many of the things that work great surrounded by XP dont have VISTA drivers.
You probably hold to download the drivers. Just google the type of printer and drivers. I had to do this near my last printer.
Go to the manufacturer's site (for the printer) and download the vista driver for the printer and that should do the trick.
upright luck
Sounds like a driver error, I niggardly you may not have the right drivers. I do strongly suggest you pop in the manufacturer's website " your printers manufacture" and look under the support or the download paragraph and download the latest drivers. Some manufacture have auto take off feature on their website, where on earth you would have to install their software and automatically give you the latest drivers and as you would expect except for windows vista that part is not supported yet.
Vista is a mess, it doesn't support our printers and printer software, you will own to go your printer website and see if you can bring the drivers, their motto is an old driver is better than no driver. I own an HP 7350 and couldn't get it to install the software, I go to the hp printer site and they directed me to install the 5550 printer driver and that worked. Anything you try to install on Vista is going to have some humane of problem, drivers and software won't work, be prepared to visit a great deal of websites.
