Life-span and assist re: 2001 Xerox Phaser 6200 color laser printer?

I enjoy a 2001 Xerox Phaser 6200 color laser printer. It is leaving magenta streaks and tonor lines adjectives over my paper. The repair company have been here already and told me they needed to pilfer it to their shop for proper repair. The nature of my business is that I have need of this printer everyday. They told me they could rent me a printer for a few hundred dollars and that the repair would take 4-5 days and cost would be base on labor hours. Is it worth fixing? What is the average life-span for this printer? Any suggestions? Also, the graphic print element is sub-par and I need it to be well-mannered, the streaks make it worse.Any recomendations on a color laser printer that produces excellent picture and figurine quality? Data: have printed total pages from engine--40,568 and have printed 160,128 images. Thanks!

Answer:
You might want to check the following page from Xerox on order information for replacing the routine maintenance items such as:
1. Imaging part - good for 30,000 page $280
2. 110v Fuser - good for 15,000 page $210
3. Transfer Roller - good for 15,000 page $46

The repairs items adds up. So it may be better to buy a exotic printer. The 8500 is $500 and prints almost twice as fast.
