I am purchasing a colossal flatbed printer, any suggestions?

I us the Epson cx5800f, the f is for fax.It prints photos and everything else approaching a pro.Ink cartridges are cheap,and they last pretty long time.The cost is around $150. really works all right for me.

A 'flatbed' printer? Do you mean an adjectives in one printer next to a flatbed scanner, and printer? If so, what is your price range? What will you be doing beside it ie printing photos, sending faxes, scanning photos?
