Personally. I would purchase a scanner like the one on the association, with ability to scan negatives. Perhaps even a difficult end element like this one:

If you hold a scanner, just scan the pictures into your laptop. Good luck. Mikie.
Negatives can be scanned near a slide and negative scanner.
Check near your scanner manufacturer, and see if they proposal an accessory for copying slides and negative.
