As long as you are running a windows base operating system any printer brand will work. In fact I would inspire you to go beside another printer manufacturer as dell printers are for dearth of better terms.. crap.
Any printer is fine. I'd be in motion for an all within one--with a scanner and copier, too. You probably don't need the fax if it's for home use. I love my HP All-in-One. It's last me four years so far and I have never have a problem with it and I print a TON, considering it's a home computer. I'm on my 6th ream of newspaper in a year which is seriously for home use.
