ok, bought the printer works fine. Did a chief move and lost the cords. Called Best Buy, said i had to buy them directly from HP. Called HP told them i am missing the power cord. Ok great they mail be a power cord that isnt the right one, called them vertebrae and they said i needed this other part that hooks up to the power cord. So ordered that. Came today and still not the right bit! So gonna call them wager on but not sure what to ask for. I need somethng that have three holes, dont know how to explain it that i believe connects to the second thing it get and that in turn connects to the first power cord i rcvd. Does that gross sense? three connects just to hook up to power. I own a USB connected but cant get the printer power! Any help/suggested would be appreciated. Thanks.

If I recognize you well, you right presently have the factor that goes to the power outlet, but you are missing the slice that goes into the printer. theres solely supposed to be 2 parts the one with the box (the adapter) and the one next to the power outlet connectors. I have matching printer and what appears to be the part num. for the adapter is 0950-4466

Look, here's how you construct sure they DON'T screw it up. You find your printer make and model number. You turn onto their website, look at their store under peripherals. Find the power cable (they hold pictures for you too!). They'll ship it to you.
