How do I take my printer spooler to work (whatever that is to say?)?
Answers:
You can check to see if the Print spooler service is running on your P.C by doing the following (Windows X.P guide, Pretty much duplicate for other versions of Windows besides 95).
* Click on the start button.
* Select Administrative tools from the programs menu.
* Select Services.
You should very soon be able to see a dialogue box beside a list of services that are installed / running on your system.
*Scroll down till you see the "Print spooler" service.
* Scroll across and check its status.
You will observe what looks similar to a media player control at the top vanished of the window. This control enable you to stop and restart any highlighted service (This is helpful when the print queue is not responding. As you can restart the service in need rebooting your P.C)
Note: You can also change the start up settings for the spooler service (Set it to automatic if you want Windows to nouns this service at start up, If is isn't already ).
I hope this has help ;)
The print "spool" is the area where on earth the file is sent to so the printer know what it is printing, sortof like RAM on a computer, or a "temp" record in your browser.
