Printing wirelessly?

I don't own a wireless netowork and since I only enjoy 1 computer I don't really need one. But what I would resembling to do is place my printer in another room from my computer. What is the cheapest route I can turn and make this come up? I don't own a printer presently and would like to buy an HP 3180, but would buy the HP 5180 or 6180 if any of them would make this easier to verbs off.

Answer:
I use a router near a USB port myself, but I do understand some printers are self contained, lately not sure you will still not need a wireless switch.

You unsurprisingly will need a wireless card contained by that computer in any satchel.

Might want to ask some other folks to confim this, but I don't think you can print contained by another room without a host computer for the printer. I can print wirelessly from my laptop to my home computer but this is bacause I enjoy the printer shared on the host computer, so unless your printer was plugged into a LAN you wouldn't enjoy a path to it. You can receive a wireless router and wireless card pretty cheap at Best Buy but I haven't seen any that would support a printer lacking a host. But who know's there might be something similar to that out there. Couldn't hurt to donate Best buy or Circuit City a call and explain to them what your trying to do.
You can get a wireless print server. I'm looking at getting one as ably in the implicit future so that I can print sour my laptop wirelessly. There's a few on the market from US Robotics, D-Link, and most comapnies that be paid routers and networking products.

You'll also have need of a wireless card for the computer that you're printing from so it can communicate with the printer. The print servers will run you somewhere around $40-$100 usually.
