Why is my printer spitting out a bunch of garbled crap?
If you have any philosophy, let me know. You may stockpile a printer's life.

It spits out what you put contained by it.

Could be a few different issues.
First, I would start by going to the website of the printers manufacturer and downloading the most recent drivers for it.
If that does not solve the problem, then you probably own a bad cable. Try a fresh one.
If that does not work, then you are probably S.O.L.
I bet it;s an HP printer.....
that usually happen when theres a communications error , bad cable bleak computer ect....anyway those HP printers don;t want to let budge of the print job..they try to print the scrap they have...a short time ago unplug the power and data connects to the printer, lear laptop and printer off for abut an hour....
consequently reconnect...
Bad driver or cable, try installing the latest copy of drivers from the manufacturers website, if this doesnt work a trial cable, if still no luck im afraid your printer is dead!
It could be a couple of things. The driver could be impossible, in which casing you need to delete the printer and re-install it (preferably near whatever the up-to-the-minute driver is from the manufacturer's web site). If that doesn't do it, it's possible that your cable is doomed to failure; it doesn't happen commonly, but it CAN happen. It's also possible that the USB port have died; you can check that by putting a different USB device on the same port and seeing if it still works.
If none of these help, then you've probably basically got a unmoving printer. I'd check it on someone else's system to see if you can get it to work at hand.
This problem is called cast-offs printing.
When ever the computer software's information is not interpreted in driver contained by proper way this characteristics of problem occurs.
Just dis-install the current driver anc reinstall for the 2nd time.

Its an HP Printer Rt..........
Its Simple......
1)After it prints the colour audition page,check for any instruction on the page.
2)Place the test page Face Down On the Scanner cup.
3)Press the scan button
4)The ON Button will Start flashing.
5)Wait untill it becomes solid colour.
Your Issue is resolved...
