A work around is to set it the trait to photo, and the paper.
It shouldnt issue what type of cartridges you use. Photo cartridges allow for finer detail. You can still print photos with average ink.

Ink shot is sprayed on and if the material is really burnished, it won't absorb. Unlike other printing methods, laser printers, where on earth heat is applied to be paid the ink stick.
