i get this printer at a garage sale..it have the color cartridge installed but no black videotape which i will buy if the printer checks out.the Question is:will the paper nurture work without the black printer videotape installed..can't get the tabloid feed to work "as it is" but wondered if the installation of the black ink videotape will make it work ..if so ,i will buy the videotape and see if it works....thanks folks!

It sounds similar to something isn't aligned or the rollers are damaged. The cartridges won't hold an effect on how the paper feed.

I doubt the printer will dod anything minus the black cartridge. Most printers won't work ever beside the color cartridge missing.
the black cart' shouldnt enjoy anything to do with the quality newspaper feed - sounds similar to its had its afternoon !!
