Printer take ages past it starts to print document?
I've a short time ago installed a HP PSC 1210 all-in-one printer for my Mother, it's her second of the same sort.
The PC recognises the device and prompts to install drivers, it already has drivers recognised on the appliance, and I've tried installation with both recommended and the up-to-the-minute off HP's website.
The installation works fine and the printer is setup as non-attendance.
Now, if I open a check document and click print, it will take more or less 5/10 minutes before the printer starts to print the document itself! The rate is in fact prints the document is reasonably slower than usual also; however, I cannot for the life span of me think why it take 5/10 minutes before the printer starts to do anything!
Any suggestions? Many Thanks
Answer:
Im not exactly exactly sure if I read between the lines u correctly but u may have installed conflicting drivers. Try doing a verbs sweep of all software involved next to printer (remove folder in c: programs files)also, and install software and drivers that come with up to date printer.
Go to 'start'
select 'run'
type 'services.msc'
you will get a pop up pane ... goto 'print spool'..... right click ....'restart'
Also ... change the USB Cable.
When you click print...a printer panel will clear...under your failure to pay printer...you will find preference or properties...click and choose the correct setting. Still if you enjoy doubts...contact me..
