How do I adapt my printers ink drying time?

i have always thought dry time have more to do with the actual makeup of the ink than anything else, and have not been aware within was an picking to change it...

Not 100 percent sure about this one. Checking the following may resolve the issue:
*Is the printer setup correctly (See User guide for information)

* Was the printer still completing a job when you attempted to adjust these settings ? (Is the slider still greyed out when gadget printing).
* Do the pages individual printed contain a lot of ink ?
* Does the printer hold the latest firmware installed (Check manufacturer website for updates)
Note: You really shouldn't have a problem varying these settings.If the problem still occurs i recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
If you do correction the dry time, you will need to remove respectively page from the output to avoid sticking as the ink will still be wet when the subsequent page exits (This is because adjust the dry time actually adjust the pause contained by between printing. not the drying time of the ink).

I would suspect it is based on two factor. The type of paper elected and the density (pixal resolution) selected. I hold had that type of problem when printing. It as a rule was cause by wanting a dense print, high part, large size output. It be using the time to compose the information to the printer through the spooler, had zilch to do with drying time. Between prints, examine your hard drive and see of near is a lot of distraction with nought else running, and if the ready street light on the printer is blinking.
