My printer take 1 min 52 secs to print our 1 A4 page. Why do manufacturer say aloud 22ppm?

And the speed referred to may be low resolution black&white A full color picture may purloin ages

A bit approaching me getting out of bed in the morning. Takes ages. But once up I'm all set to roll.
Cos the printer will print at 22ppm if you have it on the lowest possible rubbish setting.

22ppm tends to be for B&W file printing at low res. Basically its the printer manufacturer turning down adjectives the settings to see how fast it can print.
If you are doing a full colour, large quaility, high res print afterwards it will take more time as it requirements to cover every single bit of the page with ink which take up a lot of memory and seriously of time to process.
Do you need to print at such big res / high ability? If you are printing pictures from photos with the drop within costs I go to Boots as it is with the sole purpose about 10 - 15p per print for a professional quailty print on really lofty quality daily which once you work out the cost of the ink and paper you are buying its not far rotten and will be better quality than anything a home printer can produce.
I own a picture of my wife that I printed on so called Kodak Ultra quality newspaper on the maximum settings for quality on a 5 colour ink spout next to one from Boots and immediately it is starting to fade, there are fines showing and the blue tac is leaching through whereas the Boots one is 100% fail-safe.
