Printer sustain?

i've get an HP officejet4215 that im trying to install on an xp SP1 machine...when i plug it up, it pulls up the different hardware manager, but go DIRECTLY to the could not install slide. I've downloaded everything hp has on their site as far as drivers and whatnot...will updating to SP2 be paid any difference at all? If not, any tips?

SP2 is good for closing some batch found in Xp, which is critical
But it has nil to do with your problem

be off that open and travel to add/remove in control panel afterwards choose add unusual hardware. choose advanced installation and the location with the drivers...after that if it still doesn't work instead pressing finish stir back and choose the odds under browse...look into the product you have within the list presented and run on with the installation. Liv ..oh when you plug it contained by to your computer go to printers/faxes and see if you see your printer ...right click on it and press turn online/offline...see if it works...try to reset your pc and dally a minute than plug in your printer and start your gadget :)
