An epson 1520 printer have not be be used for 4 months immediately near are lines missing surrounded by the printouts.?

Do not buy that printer! Ink jets adjectives clog from lack of use. Most can be cleaned , Epson is almost impossible to verbs. The problem is the actual print head is built into the printer and the jet are so small they clog easily and are strong to clean. If it get to that point it has to be taken apart to verbs. Even if you do get it to look pretty moral, you will have zilch but problems and watse ink running endless cleaning cycles. Printers are so cheap immediately go return with a nice new one.
Clean the printheads, and/or replace the ink cartridges.
Print tape is clogged.

It must be clogged up. Take the videotape out, and give it a verbs as well as the printer. Make sure it's turned bad first though. Same thing happen to mine.
