I assume you hold a lexmark !
i would advise you to dump the lexmark and buy an epson printer. The plea i say this is because everyone i know who bought lexmark are have various problems where on earth as epson printers don't seem to suffer these problems...and the inks cheaper & better.
This is merely my opinion and near are other brands out there.
Printing problems are not easy ti pin point some times. If the lines that you speak of are White, as in zilch printed on those lines and you have replaced the ink cartridges next to fresh new ones, next must likely it is the ink carrier bucket's problem. Must of these can be replaced,"Purchased" from manufacturer or store.problem is that thy come beside new ink cartridge's so they are fairly expensive.
First try to remove the the printers Driver, disconnect it from PC and reboot. Once you reboot with printer detached re install the driver and re boot. Shut PC down and connect the printer fund. Start the computer. The system will now find or re discover your printer and install the Drivers that you previously freshly reinstalled. All should work OK. You might pocket a web drive to the factory owner of your printers web site and See if the own a newer version of your printers driver . This would probably do the trick.Some times in recent times turning the printer off for 5 to 10 minutes will clear the printers change and it may properly function. Hope this helps.
