Printer spooler server?
Answer:
Ours at work regularly "dips out" just for the hell of it. The lone option is to restart your PC to re-run it.
From a command prompt (find it surrounded by your start menu)
Type :
NET STOP SPOOLER {enter}
NET START SPOOLER {enter}
If you get a strange error, try googleing it.
You may find that it's set to instruction manual in services and wishes to be switched to automatic.
Control Panel/Admin Tools/Services - check state of Print Spooler, right click/Properties - alter if necessary to auto. OK/OK.
Good Luck
Did you indicate Print Spooler Service ? or Print Server ?
They are 2 completely different things.
If you meant Spooler Service, afterwards treving's answer is the best.
If you meant Print Server, next you need to be more specific, eg make/model.
