I own an HP printer near a Parallel port and a computer w a USB port. Is within a agency to attach my printer?

I call HP and they dont have an adapter. Obviously they want me to buy a current printer. Can anyone help?

Answer:
You can purchase any a PCI parallel port card, eg, from SIIG, and use the usual parallel printer cable for connection.

You can also purchase a usb/parallel port adapter ( look for them on eBay - in that are many ), that have a USB on one side and the parallel port on the other. They are made by many manufacturer, D-Link is one as an example.
most computers i know of also come with a parallel port already installed so you can hook up that class of printer. look in the spinal column of your computer. i bet you find it.
2 options you can buy a PCI parallel card and install it contained by your computer or buy a cable.
