Why can't I unstop my compact disc for the HP laser squirt 1100 ?

There is no such restrictions for 98 or XP.
Your disc must be damaged.
the 1100 works great on xp.
when you say aloud you can't open it, do you enjoy your computer set to autostart?
did you go through "my computer" and find the drive. you can voice run, or you can say explore.
when run fail, hit explore
the cd will open and you will see the start.exe directory to run
