Help!! Having a nightmare next to my printer, can anyone comfort me?

I've just resolved this same problem on my nieces Brother HL-2030 printer. She'd have a printer jam too and manage to pull the serious newspaper out but the paper standard lamp was still continuously flashing. This usually indicates that in attendance still may be tiny bits of paper stuck within the printer somewhere. Do the following.
1. Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or adjectives of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code index on the front panel display for the area where on earth the jam occur. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identify the area of the printer where on earth the jam occur.
2. Turn off the printer.
3. Remove any rag trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged treatise.
4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's rag path and to the toner or ink videotape.
5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink videotape. Place it in a rucksack or away from light to avoid destructive it.
6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it near both hands and pulling firmly . The hope is to keep the quality newspaper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the conserve.
7. If the paper does split, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. If you cannot see any composition – still rotate the gears – there may be tremendously small pieces in in that.
8. Replace the toner or ink cartridge and rag trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer fund on.
9. If the printer paper preserve message still appears, then at hand is still some paper surrounded by the printer. Re-inspect the paper bridleway.
Take the toner out, check again, back the toner surrounded by and reset the printer

If you've got a canon that have a flashing code, you may as well dump it within the bin. These arseholes at canon have installed time bombs contained by their machines in the passageway of unsolvable codes. The only agency to fix it is to take it to the canon supplier and they will charge you the price of the printer to reset it. If you can't pay, after they own spent ten seconds recoding it , they will keep hold of your printer and sell it on second appendage at two thirds of the retail price. This has already happen to hundreds maybe thousands of disappointing canon customers. If you manage to attain over this without getting a fresh printer, watch out for your subsequent time bomb which may be any one of twelve codes. They can occur soon after you've bought your printer or after a year and if you throw out to pay their ink prices and riddle your own cartridges, your warranty is useless.
I've had similar problems next to HP printers and it turned it to be bits of paper or covering that had slipped between a sensor that be supposed to be kept clear.
A quick blast of an nouns duster can usually dislodge some bits but as it's only a month dated, contact the seller and achieve it fixed under warranty.
