What is the best priced AIO printer that also prints directly to CD/DVD?

Answer:
Epson is the just printer that prints onto printable CDs/DVDs out of the box. The Epson R series is what you want to buy. The most popular ones are the R200/220/300/320 series which have immediately been replaced beside the newer R260s (and prob 360 etc. The 200/220/260 series are NICE photo printers that print on DVD, photo paper, the unharmed shubang. Moving up to the 300 series adds an LCD eyeshade for just a short time more. Moving up to the RX series (I think these start beside the RX500) adds AIO capability which is precisley what you want. The RX500 is old though and very soon they make I believe the RX580 which retails for almost $150 but has an instant rebate in a minute for $20. So the MOST you should pay is $130 for it. You might want to look up some sites for compatibles inks for this printer though as the inks are not cheap for the total set.
EPson is the only brand of printer that offer direct to CD or DVD printing. You requirement to buy special CD's and DVD's for this. They are called printable CD/DVDs

An Epson RX580 is the underpinning model AIO that prints direct to CD/DVDs. EPson printers always provide great imaging element and reliability.
