My printer and p.c. are not compatible?
Answer:
Absolutely not. The push button to adding hardware is to NEVER plug it surrounded by until you have installed the software first. There should own been a compact disc with your printer, or if you bought your printer second appendage without a disc you can go to the Lexmark website and download the drivers here. Install the drivers and THEN plug in your printer. Windows is not respectable for this, but it is still (in my opinion) the most user friendly OS. Good luck.
No, that has nil to do with it. You should know how to turn on your computer and your printer and then only just plug the printer into the tower. Windows should see it and load the driver. If this is a printer scanner combo, you will stipulation to load the driver first and after plug it into you system. It should show right away.
Check your ink levels, my outmoded printer would disconnect itself if one of the ink cartridges was out.
Open your "printer" folder and see if your Lexmark is listed. If not, double click on "Add New Printer". You should be on your agency.
