Connect printer to two computers?

i want to ask can i connect my printer to two seperate computers using the two different ports from my printer, one is a parallel and the other is usb, so that respectively port is connected to each of my pcs, will in that be any problems?

Answer:
I think that you will capture a probrem because the printer not only receive information to be printed but also sends back an acknoledgement to the laptop that it is ready. the mode to do it is with COMPUTER NETWORKING or individual the way you are describing us here but whenever the computer which is using the priter is on an the other is off or within "use offline mode" so not to request info on the status of the printer to see if it is "ready". for a network you can make a payment a router and a print server but that is even more complicated and expensive. worthy luck
there is other problems with everything related to computer...but that sounds legit. I really dont see why it wouldnt work
Shouldn't be a problem. As long as you configure them properly.
I don't believe there would be a problem next to that as long as you defined the printer config (port to use) on your pc's respectively.
