Is my printer USB broken?
Could the usb be broken ? I really need to print something :|
Answer:
Open up device superintendent by right clicking on my computer, selecting properties, and consequently clicking on hardware, then device overseer. Scroll down the list to "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and cause sure they are enabled and working properly...you should not see a yellow "?" or a red "X" by them. If adjectives is well within, try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. Make sure that you do a complete uninstall before reinstalling...some of the "adjectives in one" machines are tricky so if you hold one of those, you may have to download an uninstall tool from the businesswoman, run it, reboot, and then reinstall the drivers.
Try plugging the printer into another USB. if it still doesn't detect it, uninstall the printer software, unplug the printer, and reinstall the software and follow the instructions exactly.
If it be me I would unplug the printer, uninstall the software, reboot the computor and then basically plug the printer in. The computer harware wizard should find the tentative hardware and ask you for the disk. You could also delete your old printer up to that time rebooting. Hope this works for you.
