I've have this printer for about 2 years and never have a problem putting the ink cartridges. But this time when replacing the cartridge, the printer keep reading this new tape as an old one. I hang on to taking the cartridge out to gross sure its all wound up and installing it backbone in and after numerous attempts, the videotape light still lights up. Is near anything else i can do to the printer or to the ink cartridge so that i can finally print pictures?

first, try unplugging your printer for a bit. sometime this will reset the memory. if this does not work, you may indeed want to see roughly speaking returning the cartridge and getting another...
