Can anyone backing me near my HP OfficeJet G85xi?
1) Whenever I print from Microsoft Word, it doesn't print surrounded by black, it prints in flotilla ink. However, it doesn't give me any indication that I'm out of black ink. And when I print out a trellis page, or something with other colors on it, the black turns out of late fine.
2) The black copy function isn't working well, any, but it gives no indication that I'm low on toner.
I've used adjectives the maintenance functions, resembling cleaning the printer heads and aligning them, but it seem to have no effect.
Please aid!

check msword printer defaults settings,
could be that word looks for black, and replaces beside mix,
web colors could be layer of brown,
the black ink should be check, and refilled if needed, remove videotape, and soak bottom with alcohol cleaner using kleenex or cotton swab, check if ink runs out, except then its dried up, try soaking within container of water cleaner mix~10 minutes, try running again, reset software running settings first, and test page, if still had it, replace,
verify that old printer drivers are not conflicting,
and check "printer control panel" settings,

First point I would do is make sure you own the right driver. You can find it at the HP website. Secondly, if you havent replaced the cartridges, the ones that are in in attendance are probably so mucked up from sitting that they are dried out and cleaning wont help.
