I can't modification the blind resolution contained by the sims 2!?
i stir to the screen option in the activity, but the only blind option they administer me is 800x600! what can i do to make the sims 2 activity fit my screen?

I know next to the Sims 2 it will usually hide or not allow you to choose settings that it doesn't believe your computer can support. I had this activity on two different computers, on the first one I didn't have really any problems I couldn't really choose glorious resolutions but I didn't really experience anything bad. On the second computer I have a much better setup, more powerful everything, it ran so much better and have so many more things that I didn't even know existed. What I am trying to voice is that it most likely doesn't assume that your computer can handle more.
There are a couple things you can try to solve this. First rotten, see if you have the up-to-the-minute drivers for your video card (drivers are what make the card work on the computer and allow for more advanced features). To do this you will call for to find out what brand of card you have and dance to that companies website. One way you can find this out is to right click on the perspective of your computer, choose properties, than once that comes up you should see a settings tab, click on that. Now look at the box under the numbered screen, it should say something approaching "default monitor on _____________" the blank is the type of card you own. Type this into Google and you should be able to find the companies entrepreneur.
Another possibility is that your computer doesn't support the game next to something which is causing it to run but incorrectly. To see if this is the problem, Click start, All Programs, EA Games, and than Click EAsy Info. This program will report you incompatibilities in your system. If any of the devices are red they are unsupported and entail to be upgraded. If this is the case, beckon a local computer shop and they should be able to recount you what you need.
Also to tolerate you know, running the game contained by a lower resolution will not usually cause it to run slower, usually, if anything, it will speed it up more. Because of this, I am lead to believe that this slowness is caused by an incompatibility somewhere else surrounded by the system.
