Answer:
Dear Friend,
More or less every CRT monitor have an option of "Degauss".
First of adjectives switch off your monitor, afterwards turn it on. Use the buttons located in the bottom side of your monitor to find the degauss odds. select it. Your monitor will flicker for 1 or 2 seconds next everything would be normal.
If it doesn't work, next probably the coil of your CRT needs to be checked. It won't cost much (typically 5-6 $). hope you enjoy solved your problem.
Look for a degausser. They used to be very adjectives at electronic stores. They are basically an electromagnet that you leave behind along the surface of the screen to remove hold. I have not be able to find one but they used to market for just a few dollars.

Here are a few on ebay.

Your magnet ego fine. Your monitor, on the other hand, is simply good for the recycle bin now, I'm afraid.
Try a small screen repair shop. Years back almost adjectives shops had what the call a "de-gaussing coil". It was used to demagnetize picture tubes, and this might be your problem.
I'm not reasonably sure of the spelling but the shops will know what you mean.
They used this coild on the front of the picture tube, running it contained by a circular motion while gradually drawing it a road from the tube. Only took a few minutes, and sometimes had to be repeated a few times, but it worked.
Exchange it. Call your System Manufacturer and see if they own an exchange program. Monitors can also be obtained cheaply (often free) on craigslit.org. If you enjoy to dispose of it, find a recycling center that accept electronics, as these contain corrosive materials and poisonous chemicals.
Try the Degauss control on the Monitor itself.

That should do it.
