Problem switching between VGA and Digital?

Hi guys.

I enjoy a K8NS pro Motherboard with an Athalon 64 3000 2.1gb processor, 1 see ram, Geoforce 7600GS agp graphics card and a trial Hannstar AH191 widescreen 19" monitor, all run underneath XP.

It is linked up to the monitor via VGA and DVI. The VGA display is fine, but when I switch the monitor over to Digital, the setting is there, and nought else. Not taskbar or icons at adjectives.

If I right click, the pop up menue appears, but nothing I select appears.

Can anyone recommend on this please?

Thanks.

Seth.

You can't have both a digital and a VGA nouns to the same monitor at matching time. Your graphics card thinks you're using two monitors, and is adjust the display accordingly.
You enjoy to choose between VGA or Digital...

You simply can't do both at the same time. It's resembling asking a wire to fetch both AC and DC at the same time. It freshly doesn't work.

Go with the Digital. The signals are fasters than VGA. You'll never see the difference, but your pc's electronics will.

Hope this help.
SWITCH the monitor?
Does that mean you merely plug in the power and the video cord to the comp?

Well, how in the region of some feeling for the poor Digital monitor, it requests to please you but you won't even say Hi! to the poor point.

At least consent to it know that you are a nice guy and speak to it by loading the instructions it needs to show you its wonderful capability.

Here's the secret, it is call, "LOADING THE DRIVER" (a driver is a small software program that communicates with the monitor). The software (driver) typically comes with the hardware when you purchase it (if needed).

If no driver, try
Control Panel->Device manager->Monitor
(I deduce it is, you see I haven't done this for some time as I'm always "nice" to my hardware;-) and "talk" to them near a language they know.

Remember now, reach a deal nice to your hardware and they'll be nice right back.
