Why do pictures on my monitor seem to be Poor?

When I am on the internet most pictures come across "pixelized". My monitor is a hp 17" flat panel. When I download pictures from my camera the pictures are top quality. I also own dial up and not broadband.

Answers:
Your dial-up probably compresses images to pick up valuable internet time. I know PeoplePC does that, is that what you enjoy? Usually, you can find a place where to revise you compression or acceleration of images, simply click around something like that and you'll find it.
You can achieve AT&T DSL for only $15 a month.
try reseting the pattern settings under tools
