Should i be bothered beside limp pixels?
i obligation straight answers. thanks!
Answer:
usually manufacturer have an internal rating almost how many limp pixels constitutes a faulty device...for a 15-17" TFT monitor this number is commonly 6 dead pixels. The position of the pixels also event...if they are smack in the middle of the eyeshade and/or interfere with the landscape in broad , then you'll probably grasp a positive reply if you ask the manufacturer to replace the device for you...
If it doesn't bother you, afterwards you do not need to verbs about it.
I've have 2 samsung monitors with 2 or 3 unmoving pixels for about 3-4 years. They've worked great and I haven't have any more dead pixels show up since.
Depends on where on earth you purchased it from and their warranty details. I purchased my 22in Widescreen LCD from Newegg a few weeks ago, and it arrived with 1 late pixel and got another contained by a few days. Newegg's return policy is you have to enjoy 8 dead pixels to return it. Honestly, they are both stale to sides/corner, so I barely awareness them. Only when screen is pitch black are they blatant. I guess it comes down to your own expectaions/standards of quality for your equipment.
