I hold a BENQ monitor....?

I own a BENQ monitor and I was wondering how I can turn sour the built in speakers and mik surrounded by it. I have a sub-woofer connected to my computer too for better nouns but when I voice in Yahoo! IM I go and get a very unpromising and loud feed-back. No matter how much I try to turn down or adjust the volume, zilch works. Any suggestions!

Thanks

Answer:
I wish that you would enjoy included model# so I could access info on it, but I'm willing to bet that you hold a separate audio cable running from your PC to monitor (2 if you have mic hooked up as well). Simply unplug cable from monitor. Hook up a separate speaker system and mic. (use same jacks on sound card/onboard nouns to connect external speakers and mic).
