Answers:
Never tried 3, max of 2. But it shouldn't be a big deal. I'd suggest a dual-head graphics card contained by your video slot (AGP or PCI Express), plus a PCI graphics card in a everyday slot.

But if your system has onboard video and it's BIOS will consent to you have both onboard graphics + video card influential, you won't need the PCI card.

Once you hold them all stirring, your video control panel will let you configure their layout which controls how the cursor wraps around, etc.
you involve a video card with two monitor connectors and also use your onboard video if you hold one just connect them adjectives to the computer and turn them on
then right click<Properties<Settings and check dual monitor setting
you might call for a driver
You need 3 video cards, set them up as you generally would. Go into display properties and configure the virtual orientation for the 3 monitors (hint: if you grasp them to match the physical situation it's a lot easier).
You want either multiple video cards, or a video card next to multiple monitor outputs. Once the card(s) is(are) installed, you need to be in motion into display properties and tell Windows to use the other monitors .

Once the hardware is installed and the drivers are installed, right click on the desktop, gone click on Properties. Left click Settings. You should see some squares with a number contained by each, from 1 to 3. Each square represents a monitor. Click square 2, consequently put a check mark contained by "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". Do the same for square 3, consequently click OK.

I've never seen a computer beside 3 monitors, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible.
I do it next to a dual head AGP (PCI-E would be the same) + an dated plain PCI card.

There are quad head cards out here too (just use 3 of the four outputs), but they tend to have smaller amount graphics acceleration and be pricier.

Vista allegedly only supports multiple graphics cards from alike vendor. So if you want to upgrade to Vista at some point you will necessitate a quad head or multiple PCI-E slots beside dual head cards.
you obligation a spliter that kind what they use contained by stockmarket rooms
