Fixing Driver Issues...?

I be having this freaky problem near my monitor where every very soon and then (like every hour of so) it would turn bad and then turn pay for on again. And a couple times a day it would be paid this weird click-pop nouns when it did that and it would just turn stale for good and I'd enjoy to restart the computer. I got proposal from someone that I should uninstall my nvidia drivers and then reset to the via chipset that come with the computer and download the hottest drivers for that, apply directx updates and corrected drivers for the monitor, and THEN reinstalling the nvidia card. I uninstalled the nvidia drivers but when i run dxdiag it doesn't say anything something like my chip, it just say i'm using nothing. how do i reset stern to the chip?? and also does anyone think the solution i be given will work?

Answers:
after u uninstall u need to reinstall everything u uninstalled . i conjecture it will probably work if the problem is indeed driver related ... u need to do away with that anyway before u start troubleshooting hardware ...
Just put the Nvidia card rear in and reinstall the drivers for it, you don't own to do all of that other stuff only just to refresh your drivers. Think something like it it could be the monitor going bad, they do that from time to time. I enjoy been contained by the repair tech business for a long time and never had to turn through alll of that.
