the LCD monitors will effect considerably less eye-strain than the CFT montors...plus they also enjoy the advantage of human being less bulky...heck, some models can even be wall mounted....
for CFT monitors, take filter screens...also adjust the brightness and contrast setting so that the display is smaller number harsh on your eyes...even eye-ware is available that filter the harsh radiation...
They enjoy screens you can place over the monitor eyeshade to reduce scowl. Any office supply store.

LCD`s monitors it have normal price
PLASMA and its really expensive
