My curser get stuck!!! Help!! =o( ?
What would I ever do short all of you! I shiver to contemplate.
My cursor gets stuck and I hold to UNPLUG my computer and start all over again to achieve it to work (and then pray it doesn't surface again). It happens abundantly! Help pleeze! And a special Thank You to all of you who answered my later question. You're great!! You're my hero. Can't live lacking you!! Thanks for being at hand and taking time for me. Forever Greatful, Jenny

Several things you can do. First, if your mouse is plugged into a USB port, try unplugging it, waiting a few seconds, later plugging it back contained by. This sometimes wakes it up.
If that works, here's an even easier process to do the same entity from the keyboard (no mouse involved!). I suggest you print this out, because when you requirement it, you won't be able to grasp to it here on Yahoo!
1.Press the Windows key and the Break push button (usually sharing the Pause key over the Page Up key) on the baby grand at the same time.
2.This brings up the System Properties dialog box. Use the arrow key (no mouse, remember?) to get to the Hardware tab, later the Tab to go down to Device Manager.
3.Press Enter to find into Device Manager.
4.Hit the Tab key to select the computer deity in the tree.
5.Use the down arrow push button to get to Mice and other pointing devices. (If the item doesn't show up at adjectives, go rear to Method 1. Sorry, but don't lose hope. Next time it might show up.)
6.Use the right arrow key to initiate up the category.
7.USB Mouse should show up. If it doesn't, go subsidise to Method 1, same as for Step 5.
8.Arrow down to it.
9.If it doesn't have a red X through it, press Alt-A to catch to the Action menu, then Alt-D to Disable it. It will steal a few seconds for the display to energize. This should give it the red X. Proceed to the subsequent step.
10.Press Alt-A (again), then Alt-E to Enable the mouse.

It is most likely your mouse problem. What type of mouse do you own? If it is one with a roller bubble underneath, you will need to disentangle the base cover and nick the ball out and verbs the rollers.
If it is an optical mouse, look on the underneath and make sure nearby is no dust or fluff blocking the hole where the red reading light is. Also make sure that your mousepad is verbs.

Can you do other stuff with the upright wend that happens resembling turn on the caps lock lantern or does everything freezes
If you can do stuff with the baby grand get a strange mouse
If it freezes everything then you mite want to pay for up your stuff and format your machine
o It might be your mouse not your cursor. Try turning your mouse over and on the bottom holding a Little bubble unscrew be sure not to lose the ball. use a q-tip beside alcohol and you should see three rollers in mouse .verbs with alcohol and q-tip.If that isn't it don't know

Clean the registry for unwanted entries-may be the mouse installation software is corrupt. or is not getting revitalized.
Defrag the hard disk. Sound Odd but try it.
Clean the mouse, if dust exists it may take place.

anyway, I think that you enjoy to scan from the adwares and other bugs in your system, in that is a proccess that works while you are using your computer, try to scan your computer by any anti-adware , anti-spy, and anti-virus program.
