I don't have an idea that there's a problem of using a wet piece when the monitor is turned rotten ...
take a soft cloth (very soft) and pour rubbing alcohol adjectives over it.
The cloth needs to be soft to involve the alcohol and not scratch the eyeshade.
Be sure the cloth is damp near the rubbing alcohol. It helps to win the hard particle off your peak by moistening them.
Now, take the waterlogged, alcohol soaked cloth and wipe it all over the blind.
Remember, the cloth needs to be deeply soft. This prevents scratching the eyeshade.
Make sure the cloth is not dripping with alcohol because you don't want it getting into the electronics when you wipe the eyeshade.
Once you finish wiping, your eyeshade will look brand new.

LCD screen are not perfect. In reality, you have to be greatly careful when cleaning them up. Too much pressure using the wrong mode of cloth will most likely gash your display and could even burn some of its pixels. So the question is, what is the proper approach to clean an LCD blind?
First, you've probably seen some of those expensive LCD cleaning solutions contained by computer stores right? The good report is that you don't really need these. Mixing up your own cleaning solution is completely easy and will certainly save you fairly a few bucks. You only call for 2 ingredients:
70% Isopropyl alcohol (Warning)
Distilled Water
The recipe is easy: Mix the Isopropyl alcohol and distilled wet in equal parts (50/50) inside an useless Windex-like bottle. Do not use tap sea! Doing so will leave white smears on your peak after cleaning it up because of the dissolved minerals inside the water. When finished mixing, basically close the bottle using the "spray" adaptor that comes attached to it.
Next, you will need to find a fitting, soft piece of microfiber clothto clean your display. Avoid quality newspaper tissues at all cost! Using those on your eyeshade would be just resembling scrubbing sandpaper on it and may score it permanently. You wouldn't want to do that right?
Now that we own everything we need, start by turning rotten your screen. Dampen your piece of soft cloth beside your cleaning mixture and then wipe the display sympathetically from top to bottom. Never spray liquid directly onto the LCD. When you're done, hang about a few minutes to let your blind dry, and then turn it final on. Voila, you're done! Your screen should very soon be sparkling clean.

"The authoritative word on LCD cleaning in Apple manual is to use a solution of diluted isopropyl alcohol, no more than a 50% solution. Usually the rubbing alcohol you buy at a drugstore that is any 90% or 98% pure but 98% is pretty hard to draw from (you don't need it anyway). I mix 1 slice water and 1 factor 90% isopropyl alcohol, which works out to... um.. something just lower than a 50% solution.
Be absolutely sure to use a immensely VERY soft cloth. I use a piece of soft flannel. Do NOT use paper towels or anything more coarse than an old worn out cotton Tshirt. Absolutely do NOT use windex or anything beside ammonia in it, it can etch the peak surface and can cause the plastic to stir cloudy. You don't want that to happen!
BTW, near is a commercial cleaning solution called something resembling Klear-Screen, it's pretty expensive. It is merely a 50% solution of isopropyl alcohol and water. Just approaching I make, for a fraction of the cost."
