Why i am getting flickering contained by monitor?

My monitor is flickering .How to avoid this. Also when i hold on to the speakers/woofers near my monitor it is flickering. Also coloring change unusually at some area of monitor.
It is a exotic CRT monitor. How to avoid this?

Answer:
flickering - maybe your display card is set to 60Hz, try to set it to 70, 72 or 85hz .. if its a untried monitor.

the crt is electromagnetic sensitive, u need to move the woofer further away from the crt tube. the speakers could be magnetically shield, but still, have a block of magnet near the crt is not advisable

remember, magnets and crt dun travel well together ...
The speakers are interfering near your monitor - you can't avoid this.

The flicker can be caused by the energize rate.
When you are looking at your resolution settings there should be an advanced button and next a monitor tab that allows you to change the galvanize rate.

It should include an option to show with the sole purpose rates supported by the monitor - if so, check it: going to high can cuase your monitor problems.

If this chance is not there look within your monitor manual to see what strengthen rates are supported and set it to the highest setting your monitor supports - this will slim down the flicker issue.
Move the speakers away from the monitor, that flicker is caused by the electromagnetic grazing land generated by the speaker coils. Then degauss the monitor, which is usually done by shutting the monitor sour, then turning it put money on on.
here's a link on ebay's computer & IT forum that will explain it.
You will want to update your video drivers or bring down the refreash rate on your computer. right click on the backround, click on properties, click the monitor tab, loose change your settings down and try it.
As for the speakers unless they are shielded then hold on to them away from your monitor and tower. The magents can mess up the screen and concrete drive.
The color changing should turn away when you move your speakers, if not the you call for to degauss your monitor. To do this on the controls on your monitor you should go into the menu and look for a hourseshoe magnet. accentuate that and press the ok on your monitor and the screen should spring and make a swish but clear up when done.

Hope this helps.
if it flickers when your speakers/woofers are AWAY FROM IT,
appropriate it back...Todays technololgy should be close to flawless and pheriferals want to be compatible!
Probably not the answer you would like to hear...but most answers here are getting too tech. I have a monitor which did the same point. (changing colour is a worry), It was outdated and I upgraded and never had the problem again.and, you enjoy to be able to merely dump your speakers next to it!
