My computer monitor is intermittently losing the color red. What cause this and is it fixable?

It will be fine for a couple of days and next it's like it newly turns off the red. It will suddenly reappear even if we haven't touched the computer.

Answer:
The CRT tube is going doomed to failure. The color Red Gun is dying or the ciruit for the CRT is going bad any way you going to requirement a new monitor.
Could be a problem next to the CRT colour settings, contact your computer dealer
Other posibilities are a loose video cable or a speaker (magnet) that is to say close to the monitor and affecting the picture.
