my computer monitor street lamp is a dim blue before it's be a bright blue but when u turn on the computer everything works properly but when turn on the monitor it will come on for 5 -10 seconds & shutsoff,I deduce the power supply might be low,any suggestion.

Sounds like a dodgy power supply but could be a failing monitor. Check your connections especially the one to the posterior of the pc. This controls the start contraption for your monitor.

I would buy a new monitor.Walmart have a nice 19" flat panel for under $199...worthy luck
