Recommend a devout LCD for graphics?

Hello, I'm looking for a polite but affordable 20" LCD monitor for professional photography editing, movies and occasional gaming. The monitor has to hold good color, contrast and reflective blacks. I originally had my mind set on a Viewsonic VX2025, but I've a short time ago been told it's out of stock.

Please don't recommend something if you haven't looked at any other LCD's - the difference is one and only visible when you've see them all. If you could provide the model number and what TFT technology it uses (TN, P-MVA, IPS, etc) that would be virtuous too. Thanks!

LSD will give even better graphics
I would recommend the Samsung 206BW. It is a 20" cavernous screen monitor that supports HDCP and is Windows Vista Premium certified. With a 2ms response time, it is supreme for gaming. It has a contrast ratio of 3000:1.
I own the VeiwSonic VG2030wm, it's the first LCD I bought and I have not be disappointed yet. I'm a serious gamer and held stale on the LCD for a long time, glad I made the switch when I build my new system. It's not the best but the price be decent. The speakers are OK, wasn't going to use them anyway, of late had to check them out.
For professional photography editing you'd want something which use S-IPS technology probably and these are pricier.

I don't do photo or graphics editing but I individually own a Dell monitor, and I have found it to be excellent: see:

widescreen:

I own not confirmed it with Dell, but from what I read the ultrasharp ones (Dell2007 20" widescreen ultrasharp) use a Phillips S-IPS panel.

But I get the Dell for the features and color. The Dell has true color (16.7 million) and small dot pitch (0.25 mm). I hold the 2007WFP (widescreen) one and it has elevation adjust, swivel adjust and pivot, so I can rotate the screen 90 degree and have a completely tall blind. It also comes with component and S video inputs so I can hook it up to the dvd or vcr or play station.

The Dell widescreen let you change the aspect ratio of the blind .ie go from 16:10 to 4:3 and to 1:1 conventional (so this is handy if the widescreen format is stretching images you can't fix). I don't devise the VX2025 can do this.

These things drove my decision to buy Dell instead of others, and I can't concentration one flaw with the monitor. Any previous color banding problems (which you read just about on online reviews) with this Dell monitor appear to hold been fixed surrounded by current revisions.
