Answer:
You may have better luck getting rid of the ones that you hold now. There are programs that will constantly amend the color of the screen to hopefully unstick pixels that are stuck.
Typically, if the pixels are red, green or blue, they are simply stuck pixels. Dead pixels are white or black.
There are ways of doing it, but they all involve methods that would give up your job distinctive obvious physical ruin. I am pretty sure that would void your warranty. It sucks, but such is the LCD industry.
It is dying out to find an LCD or Plasma TV/Monitor that doesn't have departed pixels. If they will replace yours with simply 7 dead ones you are lucky.
I hold seen terrifically expensive units near many comatose pixels that the manufacturer will not replace, or even want to tell about.
I enjoy a Memorex 17" TV/Monitor I am using right now (about 6 months old) and it have more than 15 dead pixels, and Memorex won't do anything give or take a few it, luckily they are very small and don't effect much of anything.
