With modern PC's here are two of them.... VGA and DVI.....these are physically different connectors and are not interchangable. *MOST* monitors have VGA connectors......Most that own DVI *ALSO* have VGA connections as okay......some higher closing flat panel LCD's only own DVI....... It's safe to influence that almost ALL PC's have VGA...the few that sport DVI connections almost other have a VGA port as capably.......
