Good luck and Happy Computing!
PCI Express (Higher than AGP.)
Try the Nvidia 7300 GT
a PCI-E or PCI-Express is the type of connector on your card. Dual PCI is something completely different!
If you want a suitable allround card look for an XFX Fatal1ty with at smallest 256mb if you want to use it for games.
Be warned that some cards state they 'support' 256mb but they thieve it from your systems main memory which will mete out windows and applications to slow down.
You will probably want to browse fairly than search, it will give support to you find things easier =)
PCI-E x1 is the type of video card slot your machine have on its motherboard (assuming Dell told you correctly based on the exact model you have).
You may already hold a card in the slot unless the motherboard have both onboard video and a slot.
What they are telling you to do is verbs out the existing card (if there is one) and replace it beside a card that will a) plug into the same slot and work, and b) enjoy the ability to plug two monitors into it.
Just walk to a website like www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com.
Look up video cards - find one that say it is PCI-E x1 and has support for dual monitors and you will be set. If you still can't integer it out - go to a computer store and ask them to select one (then you can any buy it from them, or go rummage through online for a better deal on indistinguishable card).
no you need a PCI-Express X1 card near a dual graphics port.
You need a video card that have two video outputs. You can find them in the video part of your local computer store. I would buy it there because you can smoothly return it if it doesn't work. It's not really worth the money you save if you draw from stuck with a card that does not work or won't work next to your system when you buy it online or from ebay.
PCI-E is the new graphics card slot on the motherboard (replacing AGP). What you'll want is a card that can support dual output. I've included a interconnect to NewEgg.com's PCI-E x1 offerings.
The second link is to PriceWatch (they show profusely of vendors pricing so you can find other on parts). Note that the results are probably more confusing if you are not a PC component guru.
pci-e x1 is a small slot, its usually right next to the common pci express slot
