HPs LCD's?

Ok immediately i need some serious feedback what u peoples presume about HPs LCD monitors for desktop? u cogitate they would be good for gaming? any nurture back would be handy

Answer:
As computer monitors go, they're pretty appropriate.

I wouldn't get smaller than 19" though.

You can bring monitors that give for a while better pictures, but HP and Dell monitors do have a great power in that they are pretty apt quality and reliable.

LCD monitors can suffer from good-for-nothing or pixels that are dead althogether. I wouldn't touch a cheap LCD beside a bargepole as it can be a false economy if of late after the 1 year gurantee, the pixels start going black on you. Unfortunately, once you have one, more are predictable to follow and you cannot take your eyes of it once you see one!

LCDs also obligation mini fluorescent tubes in them. They do stop working after a while. Again here a infamous make that is to say reliable can save you money contained by the long run.

Everyone has to take home their own chioce in the closing stages - I don't have adequate money for a 32" widescreen monitor, so rarther than get a bigger monitor, but poorer reliability, I opt for a slightly smaller monitor (19" and in my baggage Dell).

Cutting edge technology, recurrently pushes the technology to the limits and reliability suffers repeatedly because of it. I've recently be talking to a technician and be shocked to find that in his experience, most LCDs run too hot to be reliable. I own never even noticed my Dell getting more than slightly heat. Perhaps another good intention to go beside reliability over a slightly better picture?

I suppose it comes down to a straight choice between the best picture available (today), against reliability. Then you have to trade that rotten against how deep your pockets are. I've played tons of games on this Dell and not notice any problems. The limits of my gaming seem to be to be the graphics card, not the monitor for me!

While it is true there are not heaps manufacturers of large-size LCDs, so even a no-name monitor may contain indistinguishable LCD as your more expensive monitor, it is in the element of all the support electronics that that the difference lies apparently. That is apparently why Dell and HPs narrowly get thaw and last for years, while cheaper one run too hot and founder the technician told me.

I hope this helps a bit?

Good luck near whichever one you go next to!
Theyre ok. There not the best but it gets the post done. I have a 19inch widescreen that come with my hp and i play partially life on it and it looked great. I just now hooked my computer up to my 42in samsung lcd hdtv and it is AMAZING. But the hp is good, merely be sure you get a bigger blind.
Look up on yahoo and type "gaming LCD monitors". That should help.
