What is ethernet connector?

i own missing device in my device organizer and thats is ethernet connector what is that? am i really need this? what is the uses of that connector?

Answers:
The Ethernet connector (NIC) is your make friends interface card. If you intend to use your PC to connect to any network devices and access the Internet you must gain the Ethernet connector installed properly.

My guess is that you presently do not have the correct drivers for the NIC which is why "device manager" is have a problem with it. If you own a disk that came beside the NIC, that disk will have the drivers on it. If the NIC is integrated on the motherboard the drivers will be on the disc that came next to the motherboard. If you do not have the disk you can usually capture drivers from the manufacturers website. You may own a problem doing that however, since your NIC isn't functioning you have no channel to get to the Internet unless you enjoy another computer that you can use.

Good Luck,
Captain Computer
an ethernet connector is also know as a NIC Network Interface card, which is used to connect to routers, cable modems and a few other devices, if its missing from the device manager after either the NIC is disabled, hardware dud or windows problem i would push for seeking local pc back.
An Ethernet connector is what provides high speed network ans Internet in you computer. Now a days contained by areas with dignified speed Internet, it is a must. It looks like a slightly wider touchtone phone jack. If your computer says it's missing one, next make sure it's plugged within.
thats to hook the internet plug-in thing (looks a bit resembling a phone line...)
Your ethernet connector is where on earth the LAN (network) cable plugs in. If the computer works similar to you want it to without the ethernet connector consequently you dont really need to verbs about installing it.
The ethernet connector is a port usually located on the backside of your tower next to the other plug conncetions. It looks resembling a port for a telephone telecommunication, but bigger. I would be used to either connect your PC to a gridiron, or a high speed modem (DSL etc..)
If you connect to the internet near a dial up modem, no worry as you are not using the ethernet. IF you are trying to hook up to a DSL or other highspeed internet and it is proverb it is not found you need to do something.

So if you are not using it, and dont plan to, you can disable it.
Go to start, Control panel, system, click on the tab for "Hardware" after the tab for "device manager"
Probably next to what is ruined there is a pallid question smudge...click on the little + sign to open the device, right click on the device and choose to disable it, close adjectives windows and restart your system.

Likewise if you want to use it, it might be disabled already, be in motion through the same steps, but see the device.

Or you might need the driver for the device.

Good luck
