Dual-Monitor?
I want to buy a second monitor - how do i know know whether my graphics card will support dual monitors? and what sort of cables do i inevitability?
My card is a WinFast A180B based on a GeForce4 MX 4000 chipset.

I hold a Geforce4 Ti 4400 works like a charm beside any combination (2 screens, 1 blind, 1 screen + tv)
DEPENDING ON WHICH VERSION YOU HAVE IT MIGHT WORK OR NOT. Inspect the outputs on your card scrupulously, see if you have VGA/DVI/S-Video outputs, after take it from in that.
All you need to do is break open up control panel, nvidia configuration, then within display configuration select "DualView". This way you'll enjoy 2 monitors on your Windows Resolution properties screen.

not sure if it's the only format they made it surrounded by. On this picture you have one Monitor (VGA) port and one TV (S-Video) port. This mode you can have dual display, one @ 1280x1024 (monitor) and one @ 1024x768(TV) You will imagined need the S-Video converter, but to use it you can use a small TV (LCD or CRT, doesn't matter). The best bearing remains a visual inspection, see if it have more ports on the back.
I do believe you with the sole purpose need to split the cable coming from the workstation - no adjustment to video card required.
A "single to double" cable out of the electronics store should simply do it.

Yes it will product sure you have upto date drivers. I too am thinking of adding together a second monitor. I had my tv connected up to pc and i be like have 2 monitors and you can watch films on one and do other things on the oter its cool.
